...To Malaysia, where we caught up with GB Team member Kristian House just after the end of the Tour of Langkawi. Kristian had worn the King of the
Mountains jersey in the Tour of Langkawi and is set to turn professional this year. He moved to the USA at the age of eight but still rides for Great
Britain.

Age: 25
What made you start cycling? I got in to cycling when I was 16... I used to ride to football (soccer) practice three or four times a week and I used to see this girl who was a cyclist pretty much all the time, got chatting to her one day, and she helped me get on to a team and start racing. I had been working in bike shops for a while before then, but hadn't gotten into the racing side of the sport. So I guess the short answer is girls, heheh.
What bike do you ride? Trek, with 10 speed dura ace, but I have to say my favorite bike ever was my Tommasini Techno Extra... in red with 9 speed Dura Ace. Beautiful.
Give us a brief cycling background: Started out in the States at 16, moved to Belgium at 18, lived there till 22 racing for a few
teams including Michel Polentier's CTL Lombarden, then moved on to the Great Britian National Track Team till the end of 2004...
...now just waiting for a contract to come thru with a German Pro team called Weisenhof.
What was your best performance? Winning a stage of the Sun Tour, and holding the King of the Mountains Jersey for nine days in the 2005 Tour of Langkawi.
What was your worst performance? You want me to pick just one?
What is your favourite race food? I actually dont have a favorite... just eat what I'm given.
Where is your favourite cycling location? For Training, I love Australia, Racing I like getting dirty in Belgium.
Most likely to say: "Howzit gawin?" or "Yea I know."
Least likely to say: "Hey Dude, that's totally awesome!"
