This is the final club 10 of 2012, the last time to grovel up and down the g10/42 in an informal relaxed race setting - go on you know you promised yourself you'd give it a go in 2012, let's go timetrialing !!!!

Club 10s are a very informal affair and highly dissimilar to the prologue of the Tour, so if you haven't done a TT before this is an excellent opportunity to start! If you are interested in riding, please add your name below. In the event of it being oversubscribed (we do have a limit on the amount of riders who can race), priority goes to (i) first claim KW members who have marshaled or helped out in Club activities including putting out signs for club tt's (ii) KW members and (iii) others. The cost this year will be a whopping £3.


The start sheet will be posted on the forum a couple of days beforehand, the "HQ" which will be, as usual, the car park at the top of Inholms Lane, just off Spook Hill

This is a lovely car park equipped with, stones, surrounding trees and not much else - but it is free to park in. As per last year please note the following re parking at the "HQ" area;

"The farmer has asked that we keep the farm access road that runs from the Inholms Lane car park down to the farm clear on future evenings. In order to achieve this, he has asked that we park off the metalled road and on the verge on the LEFT hand side as you look down toward the farm - we have been parking on the right-hand side.
If we do this, he seems to have no objection to us using it as an overflow parking area."
There is also parking on the road in Spook Hill.

When you arrive there find Cathy or me to sign on and pay. We will have a signing on sheet and a pile of race numbers at our car. Give us £3, sign on and take your number as per the signing on sheet (The last few years we have been a bit slack about contact numbers on the signing on sheet but this year can you try and put one down on the signing on sheet and also include your home address). The numbers need to be pinned onto your rear - not your back but your bum. When you are crouched down sprinting at the finish Frank and his helpers won't be able to see a number on your back - so "Numbers on bums - not on backs".

I won't be about so you'll be in the more than capable hands of Mr Robin Cartwright, bon viveur and all round man about town.
